Tri preporuke

Three recommendations
by a local
Paolo Pedracini, direktor
hotela Hilton Sorento Palas,
svojim gostima preporučuje
da neizostavno posete tri
mesta Amalfijske obale koja
su malo izvan svakodnevnih
turističkih interesovanja. Evo
njegovih predloga.
e
Paolo Pedrazzini, the
general manager of
Hilton Sorrento Palace,
recommends to his guests
to visit three off-the-path
places in the Amalfi area.
Here are his suggestions.
3.
godine, u Muzeju kapele Sansevero.
e
Most of the tourists who come to Sorrento
and Amalfi usually don‘t visit Naples. This is a
big mistake, because it‘s a city that offers much to
visitors. I would go to Naples for at least one reason
- I think it has the most beautiful sculpture in the
world, the Veiled Christ by Giuseppe Sanmartino
from 1753, in the Museum of Sansevero Chapel.
2.
Rezervat prirode „Vale dele ferije-
re“ malo je poznat među turistima.
Dolina, zaštićena okolnim planinama,
blizu gradića Amalfi, ima jedinstvenu
mikroklimu, sa konstantnom tempera-
turom tokom cele godine. Rezervat je
stanište nekih jedinstvenih evropskih
biljnih i životinjskih vrsta koje se nisu
menjale od tercijera, pa se smatraju
živim fosilima.
e
The „Vale dele feriere“ nature
reserve is not well known among tou-
rists. The valley near the town of Amalfi,
protected by the nearby mountains, has
a unique microclimate, with a constant
temperature throughout the year. The
reserve is home to several unique
European plant and animal species that
haven‘t changed since the Tertiary, so
they‘re considered to be living fossils.
1.
Faraljoni – stene ostrva Kapri – tri mo-
nolitna grebena visoka oko 100 metara
stvaraju monumentalan prizor. To je jedino
mesto na svetu na kome živi vrsta guštera
sa kožom plave boje. Veruje se da su gušteri
hromatski prilagodili kožu boji mora nakon
odvajanja stene od ostrva.
e
Faraglioni – the cliffs of Capri island
are giant, reaching up to a hundred meters,
and a truly monumental sight. It‘s the only
place in the world with a blue-skinned lizard.
It‘s believed that the lizards adapted their
skin color to match the color of the sea, after
the cliffs seperated from the island.
poznato maslinovo ulje, turi-
stički su arhetipi za Amalfijsku
obalu. Jednostavnost kuhinje
juga Italije, poznate i kao
cucina povera, ili sirotinjska
kuhinja, paradoksalno, privlači
najbogatije – u oblasti Amalfija
koncentrisan je najveći broj re-
storana rangiranih Mišlenovim
zvezdicama izvan Francuske.
Ukupno petnaest restorana na-
šlo se u krugu prečnika trideset
kilometara. Amalfijska obala
oduvek živi od zemlje i mora,
i to se nikada neće promeniti.
Od Sorenta do Amalfija, preko
Pozitana, sve je prirodno – jaki
mirisi, intenzivni ukusi, jarke
boje, čist vazduh, snažno sunce
i gusto more. Zbog toga mileni-
jumima ne prestaje da privlači
posetioce.
e
tourist staples of the coast of
Amalfi. The simplicity of south-
ern Italy‘s cuisine, also known
as cucina povera (cuisine of the
poor), paradoxically, attracts the
wealthiest - the Amalfi region
contains the largest amount
of restaurants award Michelin
stars outside of France, a grand
total of fifteen in a diameter of
thirty kilometers.
Amalfi has always lived
from the land and the sea,
something that will never
change. From Sorrento to Amal-
fi via Positano, everything is
natural – strong smells, intense
tastes, bright colors, clean air,
a shiny sun and beautiful sea.
That is what‘s kept it attractive
for millennia.
