je postiglo iz-
vanredan uspeh
švedskog benda
Abba, koji je
pobedio na Evro-
viziji s pesmom
„Waterloo“ 1974. i potom prodao više
od 379 miliona ploča. Njihova popular-
nost i dalje traje i od maja 2013. jedan
interaktivni muzej u Stokholmu priča
priču o Abbi.
Posetioci su pozvani da plesnim
korakom ušetaju i išetaju iz Abbinog
muzeja. U zgradi u Djurgordenu nalazi
se i Hol slavnih švedske muzike i neda-
leko je od drugih znamenitosti, poput
Skansena, prvog na svetu muzeja na
otvorenom i muzeja Vasa, u kome je
smešten impresivni ratni brod iz 17.
veka izrađen od drveta, koji je potonuo
na svom prvom putovanju i 333 godine
proveo na dnu stokholmske luke.
Muzej prikazuje uspon Agnete,
Benija, Bjorna i Fride, koji su svoj prvi
singl,
People Need Love
, objavili 1972.

Few pop groups achieve the stel-
lar success of the Swedish band Abba,
who won the Eurovision Song Contest
with
Waterloo
in 1974 then went on
to sell more than 379 million records.
Their popularity endures and since
May 2013 an interactive museum has
been telling Abba’s story in Stockholm.
Visitors are invited to “walk in” and
“dance out” of Abba The Museum. The
building in the Djurgården district also
houses the Swedish Music Hall of Fame
and is within easy walking distance
of a host of other attractions, includ-
ing Skansen, the world’s first open-air
museum and the Vasa Museum, which
houses an ornately carved 17
th
century
warship that sank on its maiden voy-
age and spent 333 years at the floor of
Stockholm’s harbour.
The museum charts the rise to
fame of Agnetha, Benny, Björn and
Frida, who released their first single,
People Need Love,
in 1972 and took the
name Abba in 1973. All four progressed
separate music careers long before
