egat Petra Lubarde, uređen prema muzeo-
loškim standardima, elegantno je reprezen-
tativno zdanje naspram jednog od najlepših
beogradskih parkova na Dedinju. Šetnja
kroz svetlošću okupan galerijski prostor ne
nagoveštava kakvu je dramatičnu sudbinu
ta kuća u kojoj je umetnik živeo sa supru-
gom pretrpela posle smrti slikara. Radovi
velikana srpskog slikarstva doživeli su pod njenim krovom
blistave pa strašne, turobne pa trijumfalne trenutke.

The Heritage House of Petar Lubarda, which is
arranged according to museological standards, is an el-
egant, characteristic building located beside one of the
most beautiful Belgrade parks in the Dedinje area. A walk
through the gallery space bathed in light gives no indica-
tion of the kind of dramatic fate suffered by that house
after the death of the great artist, who had lived there with
his wife. Under its roof, the works of this celebrated Serbian
painter experienced radiance and terror, gloom and mo-
ments of triumph.
After 30 long years hidden from the public eye, these
paintings are again available for public scrutiny, along with
