Ana je zvanično proglašena
za treću najbolju košarkašicu
u Evropi u 2014. godini. To
laskavo priznanje zaslužila
je igrama u reprezentaciji
Srbije i timu moskovskog
Dinama, sa kojim je osvojila
Evrokup, pre prelaska u tur-
ski Ormanspor.

in 2014. She earned this
prestigious recognition with
her performances for the
Serbia national team and
club team Dynamo Moscow,
with whom she won the
Euro Cup prior to moving to
Turkish club Ormanspor.
- This will oblige me to train
even more, because I need
to jump two places on that

Srbije u istoriji tog najjačeg na
svetu profesionalnog takmičenja
u ženskoj košarci. Menadžeri
Los Anđeles Sparksa pozvali
su 25-godišnju reprezentativku
Srbije da igra u njihovom timu.
Ana, zvanično treća najbolja
košarkašica Evrope, radosno
komentariše pruženu priliku i
zaključuje da joj se ostvaruju
životni snovi vezani za košarku.
– Toliko sam uzbuđena –
izgovara u jednom dahu Ana.
– WNBA liga je najveći izazov u
mojoj dosadašnjoj karijeri, igraću
protiv najboljih na svetu. Dobila
sam ponude nekoliko WNBA
klubova, što me čini srećnom i po-
nosnom. Jedva čekam. Verujem
da ću uživati.
Ana Dabović će se u LA
preseliti tek u julu, kada završi
obaveze u reprezentaciji Srbije,
pa će propustiti početak sezone
u Americi. Reprezentacija Srbije
takmičiće se na Evropskom pr-
venstvu u Mađarskoj i Rumuniji,
od 11. do 28. juna, a nova sezona u
WNBA ligi počinje 5. juna.

This summer will see Ana
Dabović become the only Serbian
female basketball player in the
American WNBA league, and
only the tenth lady in the history
of Serbian basketball to ply her
trade in the world’s strongest
professional women’s basketball
league. The managers of the
Los Angeles Sparks invited the
25-year-old Serbia international to
play for their team. Ana, officially
the third best female basketball
player in Europe, gladly com-
ments on the opportunity pro-
vided to her, concluding that she
is realising her life dreams related
to basketball.
- I’m so excited – declares Ana
in a single breath. – The WNBA
league is the biggest challenge of
my career and I will play against
the best in the world. I received
offers from several WNBA teams,
which makes me happy and
proud. I can’t wait. I believe I’ll
enjoy myself.
Dabović will only relocate to
LA in July, when she completes
her duties for the Serbia national
team, meaning she will miss the
start of the season in the U.S. The

at the European Championships in
