tivnost i inovativnost. Muzej je posetilo 3,9 miliona ljudi

i još 14,5 miliona onlajn, preko Interneta. Retrospektivna

do grada Harlema. U mehanizam za automatsko upravljanje ugrađene su

najnovije tehnologije uključujući i 12 različitih vrsta stereo-kamera, dva

radara, senzore... Uređaj za procenu trenutka u kom će se promeniti svetlo

na semaforu prilagođava brzinu i povećava kontinuitet vožnje. Kompanija

Dajmler smatra da je model bez vozača bezbedniji od prethodnih.

Driver-free bus

Mercedes has presented a new technological innovation in the Dutch

city of Amsterdam in the form of a bus without a driver that is con-

trolled automatically (see photo). The demonstration saw the bus drive

about 19 kilometres from Schiphol Airport to the town of Haarlem. The

mechanism for automatic control was built using the latest technology,

including 12 different types of stereo cameras, two radars, sensors etc. A

device for assessing the moment when traffic lights will change adjusts

the speed and increases the continuity of driving. Company Daimler

believes that the driver-free model is safer than its predecessors.

Dubrovnik

Kazne za

obnažen torzo

Primorski hrvatski grad je rešio

da sa ulica protera prolaznike

u kupaćim kostimima. Gradske

vlasti su odlučile da ovog leta

svako ko prošeta ulicama starog

grada u kupaćem kostimu mora

da plati kaznu od 140 evra. Znaci

upozorenja biće vidno istaknuti u

gradu, a od turista se očekuje da

poštuju propisani dres kod. Staro

gradsko jezgro Dubrovnika nalazi

se na listi svetske baštine Uneska,

pa i stanovnici grada smatraju

da treba zadržati osnovnu notu

otmenosti na ulicama mediteran-

skog dragulja. Pitanje je kako će

reagovati turisti.

Dubrovnik

Fines for

naked torsos

Croatia’s coastal city of Dubrovnik has

decided to ban people in swimsuits

from its streets. The City authorities

have decided that everyone walking

through the streets of the old town in a

bathing suit this year will have to pay a

fine of 140 euros. Warning signs will be

displayed prominently in the city, with

tourists expected to adhere to the pre-

scribed dress code. The old city centre

of Dubrovnik is on the UNESCO

World Heritage List and residents of

the city agree that a note of elegance

must be maintained on the streets of

this Mediterranean jewel. The question

is how tourists will react.
