Let oko sveta
tehnološki demonstrator čistih i obnovljivih izvora energije.
Emirat Abu Dabija posvećuje veliku pažnju i značajna ulaganja
u istraživanja solarne energije, u Institutu Masdar koji se nalazi
u gradu. Na snimku avion Solarni impuls preleće Džamiju šeika
bin Zajeda uoči završetka leta oko sveta.

Flight around the world
A spectacular journey around the world by a solar powered plane
has come to an end in the capital of the United Arab Emirates,
where it began in March last year, after 15 months and a distance
of 42 thousand kilometres. Powered by solar energy, generated
by 17 thousand solar cells built into the wings, the plane has
provided a genuine technological demonstration of clean and
renewable energy sources. The Emirate of Abu Dhabi pays great
attention and significance to investment in research of solar en-
ergy at the city’s Masdar Institute. Pictured is the Solar Impulse
plane flying over the Sheikh bin Zayed Mosque as it completes its
trip around the world.
Zagreb
Više turista
od Dubrovnika
Glavni grad Hrvatske (na slici)
u prvih šest meseci ove godine
posetilo je pola miliona turista.
Sa prošlogodišnjih milion po-
setilaca grad je premašio svetski
poznat Dubrovnik na jadranskoj
obali. Najviše turista dolazi iz
Južne Koreje, Nemačke, SAD i
Italije. Grad postaje turistička
destinacija tokom čitave godine,
čemu doprinosi brzi razvoj
kongresnog turizma: u sezoni
kongresa u Zagrebu se održi
oko 40 međunarodnih skupova
mesečno.

Zagreb
More tourists
than Dubrovnik
The Croatian capital (pictured)
was visited by half a million tour-
ists in the first six months of this
year. With a million visitors last
year, the city proved more popular
than the world famous Dubrovnik
on the Adriatic coast. The most
tourists come from South Korea,
Germany, the U.S. and Italy. The
city is becoming a year-round
tourist destination, which is con-
tributed to by the rapid develop-
ment of congress tourism: during
the congress season Zagreb hosts
around 40 international gather-
ings per month.
