365 autoportreta
Francusko-američki baletski umetnik Mikael Žu ujedinio je
svoje dve kreativne karijere na projektu „365 autoportreta“.
On koristi ambijent svakodnevice – ulicu, most, samopo-
planiranog.

365 self-portraits
French-American ballet dancer Michael Jou has managed
to unify his two creative careers in the project “365 self-
portraits”. He uses the everyday environment – a street,
bridge, supermarket, metro station – in order to remotely
capture a momentary shot in which the position of his
body, thanks to his ballet skills, often seems to defy gravity.
He came up with the idea for the project while tourists shot
photographs of him dancing on the streets of Paris. It took
him three years to shoot almost half of the images planned.
Varšava
Mešavina zabave i umetnosti
nim mestom s visokim stepenom kriminala. Danas je to jedan od
kreativnih kutaka Istočne Evrope u kome su napuštena skladišta
i fabričke hale pretvoreni u umetničke prostore, klubove, barove,
restorane i hostele. Veliki broj mladih dolazi u glavni grad Poljske

Warsaw
Mixture of entertainment and art
The Warsaw District of Praga was considered an unsafe area with
high levels of crime ten years ago. However, today it is one of the
creative corners of Eastern Europe, where abandoned warehouses
and factory halls have been transformed into art spaces, clubs, bars,
restaurants and hostels. A large number of young people now come
to the Polish capital to experience the atmosphere of Praga, which
has become the city’s nightlife hub. The dilapidated façades of this
neighborhood have been beautified with a number of murals, such
as the one pictured here.

„Najzelenija“ zgrada
u Istočnoj Evropi
Nagrada
energetske efikasnosti.

The „greenest building“
in Eastern Europe
The Financial Times Quality Award for RealGrean Building
of the Year in Central and Eastern Europe for 2015 has been
awarded to the Floreasca Park office building (pictured) in the
northern part of Bucharest. The building has been constructed
according to modern principles of energy efficiency. The ecolog-
ical system of the building also includes a built-in geothermal
pump for heating the facility, which provides significant savings
in monthly maintenance costs for tenants.
