RESTORAN CUGHAUSKELER
(ZEUGHAUSKELLER)
Nema mnogo tradicionalnih švajcarskih
jela, a sva mogu da se naruče u velikoj piv-
nici Cughauskeler, smeštenoj u zgradi sred-
njevekovnog skladišta oružja. Restoran je
stalno pun. Najpoznatije u restoranu je ti-
pično švajcarsko jelo, prepoznatljiv ukus Ci-
riha, gešneceltes, seckana teletina sa pe-
čurkama u kremastom sosu od belog vina,
servirana uz švajcarski rešti, zapečeni krom-
pir. Sklad nakiselog sosa i slatkastog krom-
pira, upotpuniće utisak o Cirihu.

ZEUGHAUSKELLER RESTAURANT
There are not many traditional Swiss dis-
hes, but they can all be ordered at the large
Zeughauskellerbrewery, located in the buil-
ding of the city’s medieval weapons arsenal.
The restaurant is constantly full. The restau-
rant’s most famous dish, typically Swiss an-
dwith a distinctive taste of Zurich, is Gesch-
netzeltes, chopped veal with mushrooms
in a creamy white wine sauce, served with
Swiss crunchy baked potatoes. The harmo-
ny of sour sauce and sweet potatoes will
complete your impression of Zurich.

PEČENI KESTEN NA ULICI
U kasnu jesen i zimu, grad je preplavljen
prodavcima marona, pečenih kestena sa
juga Švajcarske, za koje se tvrdi da su naj-
boljeg kvaliteta. Maroni su autentična ulič-
na hrana Ciriha. Pedantni Švajcarci brinu
o čistoći grada, pa se kesten prodaje u pa-
pirnim kesicama sa dva „džepa“: u jednom
je kestenje, a drugi služi za odlaganje kore
koju oljuštite.

ROASTED CHESTNUTS ON THE
STREET
U In late autumn and winter the
city is awash with of vendors of Marroni,
roasted chestnuts from the south of Swit-
zerland, which are said to have the best qu-
ality. Marroni are authentic Zurichstre-
et food. The meticulous Swiss take care of
the cleanliness of the city, so chestnuts are
sold in paper bags with two “pockets”:one
for storing chestnuts, the other for the di-
sposal of the outer shell.
