Animirani film

Festival svetskog animiranog filma Animafest održaće se u Zagrebu

od 6. do 11. juna. To je jedna od najvećih smotri animiranih filmova

u Evropi: za prikazivanje je izabrano više od 300 filmova iz 70 ze-

malja, od 1700 prijavljenih. Festival postoji 25 godina, a glavni grad

Hrvatske već nedelju dana pre otvaranja ulazi u festivalsku atmosfe-

ru nizom projekcija na otvorenom u gradskom parku Zrinjevac (na

fotografiji).

Varšava

Evropska nagrada za muzej

POLIN Muzej istorije poljskih Jevreja u Varšavi (na foto-

grafiji) osvojio je nagradu Evropske muzejske akademije

(EMA). U obrazloženju se kaže da POLIN nije samo odličan

muzej nego i veoma savremena kulturna institucija koja do-

pire do brojne publike širom sveta. Nagrada se ne dodeljuje

svake godine već samo ako žiri ustanovi da su ispunjeni

visoki kriterijumi za dodelu. Za šest godina otkako je usta-

novljena, nagrada je dodeljena tek treći put. Muzej POLIN

je početkom 2016. proglašen za Evropski muzej godine.

Zagreb

Animated film

The Festival of World Animated Film will be held in Zagreb from

to 11

June. This is one of the biggest festivals of animated films

in Europe, with more than 300 films from 70 countries selected for

screening from 1,700 applicants. The festival has existed for 25 years,

and the Croatian capital enters festival mode as long as a week before

the opening of the festival, with a series of projections outdoors in

the city’s Zrinjevac Park (pictured).

Warsaw

European Museum Award

The POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in War-

saw (pictured) won the Award of the European Museum

Academy (EMA). The explanation justifying the granting

of the award says that POLIN is not only a great museum,

but also a modern cultural institution that reaches out to

numerous audiences around the world. The award is not

given every year, but rather only if the jury finds that the

high criteria have been met for the award to be bestowed.

In the six years since it was founded, the prize was this year

awarded for only the third time. The POLIN Museum was

declared the European Museum of the Year in early 2016.

Izložba tajanstvenog Banksija

Oko 150 radova uličnog umetnika Banksija izloženo je na velikoj izložbi u rim-

skom muzeju Palaco Čipola pod nazivom „Rat, kapitalizam i sloboda“. Banksi,

čiji identitet nikada nije otkriven u javnosti, i zna se jedino da je Britanac,

više od dvadeset godina oslikava zidove i građevinske strukture širom sveta.

Poslednjih meseci slikao je murale u izbegličkom kampu u Francuskoj i na en-

gleskoj obali. Radovi su prikupljeni iz privatnih kolekcija, a izložba je otvorena

do 4. septembra. Na fotografiji rad nazvan „Deca na oružju“.

Exhibition of the mysterious Banksy

Around 150 works of street artist Banksy are being exhibited at a major ex-

hibition in Rome’s Palazzo Cipolla Museum, entitled “War, capitalism and

freedom”. Banksy, whose identity has never been revealed to the public, ex-

cept with the information that he is British, has for more than twenty years

decorated walls and built structures around the world. In recent months,

he painted murals in a refugee camp in France on the English coast. The

works were collected from private collections and the exhibition runs until

September. Pictured is his work entitled “Kids on weapons”.
