Šering električni automobili

Ljubljana je prva evropska prestonica koja uvodi električne au-

tomobile u šering program (car sharing) od ovog meseca. To je

model u kom više registrovanih korisnika vozi isto vozilo, uzima

ga i ostavlja na određenim mestima u gradu (kao kod bicikala).

Upotreba se naplaćuje po pređenom kilometru preko mobilne

aplikacije. Trenutno se koristi 30 takvih vozila, a plan je da se broj

poveća na više stotina. U ponudi su samo potpuno električna vozi-

la tri tipa: be-em-ve i3, reno zoe i smart elektrik drajv (na snimku).

Sharing electric cars

Ljubljana has become the first European capital to introduce

electric vehicles in a car sharing programme as of this month.

This is a model in which the same vehicle is registered for

multiple users, who can take and leave them in certain places

in the city (as with bicycles). Usage is charged per kilometre

via mobile applications. Currently 30 such vehicles are used,

while the plan is to increase the number to hundreds. There are

only three fully electric vehicles on offer: BMW i3, Zoe Renault

and the Smart Electric Drive (pictured).

Spektakularni vatromet

Jedan od najlepših vatrometa u Evropi održava se svake godine

14. jula u Parizu, povodom Dana Bastilje, nacionalnog prazni-

ka Francuske, u znak sećanja na dan kada je 1789. započela

Francuska revolucija. Vatromet se ispaljuje sa Ajfelovog tornja

i iz vrta Trokadero. Ovoga meseca vatromet će početi u 23 časa

i trajaće 35 minuta (na snimku detalj prošlogodišnjeg vatrome-

ta). Najbolji pogled na vatromet biće sa Marsovih polja i Trga

Trokadero. Tokom dana održaće se i svečani defile Jelisejskim

poljima. Povodom nacionalnog praznika mnogi restorani i brodo-

vi na Seni nude te večeri poseban praznični meni.

Spectacular fireworks

One of the most beautiful fireworks displays in Europe is held every

year on 14

July in Paris, marking Bastille Day, the French national

holiday in honour of the day when the French Revolution began in

1789. Fireworks are fired from the Eifel Tower and Trocadero gardens.

This month the fireworks will begin at 11pm and will last for 35 min-

utes (pictured is a still from last year’s fireworks). The best view of

the fireworks will be from the Champ de Mars and Trocadero Square.

During the day there will be a ceremonial parade along the Champs-

Élysées. On the occasion of the national holiday, many restaurants

and boats on the Seine offer a special festive menu that evening.

takmičenje umetnika

Fondacija Viktora Pinčuka pozvala

je mlade umetnike buduće gene-

racije iz celog sveta da pošalju

svoje radove na najveći konkurs

za umetnike do 35 godina koji po-

stoji na svetu. To je četvrto izdanje

dvogodišnjeg takmičenja za glavnu

nagradu u vrednosti od 100.000

dolara. Osim u glavnom gradu

Ukrajine, najbolji radovi će biti

izloženi i na Venecijanskom bije-

nalu 2017. Dobitnike bira ugledni

međunarodni žiri. Nagradu, jedinu

te vrste u svetu, u prethodnom ci-

klusu podelili su Nastio Moskito iz

Angole i Karlos Mota iz Kolumbije.

Biggest

competition of artists

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation has invited

young artists from future generations around

the world to submit their works to the world’s

biggest competition for artists aged up to

35. This is the fourth edition of the biannual

competition for a top prize worth $100,000.

Apart from the capital of Ukraine, the best

works will also be exhibited at the Venice

Biennale in 2017. The winners are selected by

an eminent international jury. The award, the

only one of its kind in the world, was won in

the previous cycle by Nástio Mosquito from

Angola and Carlos Motta of Colombia. Pic-

tured is an installation from the exhibition of

Carlos Motta “Patriots, citizens, lovers...” held

in 2015-16 at the Pinchuk Art Centre.
