Zurich

World football museum

The FIFA World Football Museum will

open on 28th February in the Swiss city

of Zurich. All aspects of the sport of

association football, “the most impor-

tant unimportant thing in the world”,

will be shown on three levels and more

than 3,000 square metres of exhibition

space. It is believed that interactive,

multimedia displays will allow visitors

to experience the emotions produced

around the world by this popular game

every day. The opening of the muse-

um (pictured) comes in the midst of a

corruption scandal that is burdening the

international football federation.
