Botičelijeva renesansa
Izložba „Botičelijeva renesansa“ jedna je od najvažnijih ove godine u
glavnom gradu Nemačke. Otvorena u Slikarskoj galeriji Berlinskog
državnog muzeja, izložba prikazuje 50 radova renesansnog slikara
Sandra Botičelija, kombinovanih sa delima umetnika inspirisanih
Botičelijem – kao što su Edgar Dega, Endi Vorhol i Dejvid Lašapel.
Na snimku je jedan od najpoznatijih Botičelijevih radova, „Rođenje
Venere“ (oko 1482), izložen u Berlinu.

The Botticelli Renaissance
The Botticelli Renaissance exhibition is one of the most important exhi-
bitions of the year in the German capital. Open at the Gemäldegalerie
state museum, the exhibition presents 50 of the works of Renaissance
painter Sandro Botticelli, combined with works by artists inspired by
Botticelli – such as Edgar Degas, Andy Warhol and David LaChapelle.
Pictured here is one of Botticelli’s most famous works, The Birth of Ve-
nus (circa 1482), exhibited in Berlin.

Neki zvaničnici u češkom glavnom gradu predvode pobunu
protiv segveja, električnog dvotočkaša kojim vozač upravlja
stojeći, promenom položaja tela. U nedostatku regulative, se-
gveji su preplavili istorijski centar grada (na fotografiji) rezervi-
san za pešake i zakrčen ogromnim brojem turista. U nameri da
promovišu svoju uslugu, brojni vodiči krstare segvejima među
turistima, što postaje opasno, pa je grad dobio brojne pritužbe
građana i zahteve da se ta oblast reguliše.

Regulate Segways
A number of officials in the Czech capital are leading a rebellion
against the Segway, an electric two-wheeler that is operated by a
standing driver using changes in body position. In the absence
of regulations, Segways have flooded the city’s historic centre
(pictured), which is reserved for pedestrians and is packed with
a huge number of tourists. In order to promote their services,
many tour guides cruise on Segways between tourists, which is
becoming dangerous and has led to the City receiving numer-
ous complaints from citizens and requests to regulate this area.

olimpijskog komiteta da smanji
troškove, budžet bi iznosio šest
milijardi evra, upola manje od
potrošenog u Londonu 2012.
Ušteda je moguća, jer već 70
odsto objekata postoji – uklju-
čujući i antičke kao Cirkus
maksimus, ili noviji Olimpijski
stadion iz 1960. (na fotografiji)
kada je Olimpijada održana u
Rimu.

The capital of Italy is competing
to win the right to organise the
2024 Summer Olympic Games.
Its competitors include Los Ange-
les, Hamburg, Paris and Budapest.

Committee, Alitalia President
Luca Cordero di Montezemolo,
presented the financial details of
the candidacy: in accordance with
the International Olympic Com-
mittee’s plan to reduce costs, the
budget will amount to a total of
six billion euros, less than half the
amount spent in London in 2012.
Savings are possible in Rome be-
cause 70 per cent of the facilities
already exist – including ancient
venues like the Circus Maximus
or the Olympic Stadium from
1960, when the Olympics last took
place in Rome.
