“The Etihad Airways Partners logo
is a seal of excellence and global cooper-
ation. It will be displayed on aircraft and
on branded materials by a group of air-
lines working together to connect trav-
ellers around the world, and increasing-
ly to harmonise standards in the air and
on the ground.”
Mr Hogan said Etihad Airways Part-
ners differed from legacy airline allianc-
es by offering benefits well beyond pure
commercial cooperation.
“The potential for network align-
ment to maximise flight connectivity for
passengers, together with a shared pas-
sion for superior service, are central to
the ethos of the Etihad Airways Partner
concept,” he said.
“Frequent flyers will benefit from the
formation of Etihad Airways Partners as
it will remove the complexity and con-
fusion that exists within the global alli-
ances.
“We’re aiming to deliver a consis-
tent experience for frequent flyers when
they travel, as well as a consistent frame-
work for earning and using their miles.”
This will include standardised mile-
age and tier benefits across all partners,
no blackout periods and priority services.
Etihad Airways Partners will also
have access to economies of scale and
operational synergies such as centres of
excellence, shared sales teams in certain
destinations, joint procurement of ser-
vices and supplies, and shared pilot and
cabin crew training at the Etihad Air-
ways facilities in Abu Dhabi.

jardi dolara u trećem kvartalu 2014.
godine, što na godišnjem nivou predstavl-
ja impresivan rast od 29 odsto. Ukupno 3,9
miliona putnika putovalo je kompanijom
Etihad ervejz od jula do septembra ove
godine, a prevezeno je 144.498 tona tereta i
poštanskih pošiljaka.
Porast tražnje i prihoda tokom ovog
tromesečnog perioda ponovo je nadmašio
povećanje kapaciteta avio kompanije, što
pokazuje snagu njene dugoročne strate-
gije razvoja. Etihad ervejz ostaje na do-
brom putu da postigne najbolje godišnje
rezultate u istoriji, jer je prevezao 10,5

tihad Airways, the national airline of
the United Arab Emirates, reported
US$1.8 billion in revenues for the Q3 2014,
an impressive 29-percent year-on-year
increase. A total of 3.9 million passengers
travelled with Etihad Airways between July
and September this year, along with 144,498
tonnes of freight and mail carried.
The growth in passenger demand and
revenue over the three-month period once
again outstripped the airline’s capacity
increase, highlighting the strength of its
long-term growth strategy. Etihad Airways
remains on track to achieve its strongest
ever annual results, having carried 10.5 mil-
lion passengers and nearly 415,000 tonnes
of cargo between January and September
2014.

Nacionalni avioprevoznik Sejšela ostvario je veoma dobre
finansijske rezultate u prvom polugodištu 2014. Ukupni
prihodi kompanije dostigli su 50 miliona američkih dolara,
porast od 20 procenata u odnosu na prvih šest meseci 2013. Broj
putnika je porastao za 25 procenata, na 181.101. Prevoz tereta je
povećan za 35 procenata na 3.520 tona. Najprometnije međuna-
rodne destinacije Er Sejšela su Abu Dabi (porast od 90 odsto),
Hong Kong, Johanesburg i Mauricijus.

ir Seychelles, the Republic of Seychelles national airline,
achieved very solid financial results the first half-year 2014.
The overall company revenue stood at US$50 million, a 20-per-
cent increase compared to the first half of 2013. The number of
passengers rose 25 percent and totaled 181,101. Cargo opera-
tions increased by 3,520 tonnes, a 35-percent rise. Air Seychelles’
busiest international routes included Abu Dhabi (a 90-percent
increase), Hong Kong, Johannesburg and Mauritius.
