Zaštita za povrtare
Antičke bašte najvećeg turskog grada Istanbula koje se prostiru na
nekoliko desetina hektara uz istorijske zidine na obalama Bosfora,
vekovima daju povrće za gradsko stanovništvo. Urbana ekspanzija
neprestano smanjuje njihovu površinu i preti potpunim iščeza-
vanjem. Povrtari su, posle protesta, nedavno postigli dogovor sa
gradskim vlastima da se njihove parcele poštede, a pokrenuli su i
inicijativu da dobiju zaštitu Uneska. Bašte koje se na turskom jeziku
nazivaju bostan (na fotografiji) poznate su po mirisnim plodovima
jagoda i neprevaziđenom ukusu salate puterice.

Protection for gardeners
The ancient gardens of Turkey’s largest city of Istanbul, which
sprawl over several dozen hectares along the historic walls on the
banks of the Bosphorus, have for centuries provided vegetables
for the city’s population. Urban expansion constantly reduces
their surface area and threatens their complete disappearance.
Following their protests, vegetable growers recently reached an
agreement with the city authorities to save their area, and have
launched an initiative to receive UNESCO protection. The gar-
dens, which are called bostan in Turkish (pictured), are known
for their fragrant strawberries and the unsurpassed taste of the
lettuce.

Švedski glavni grad uveliko se priprema za ovogodišnji veliki
muzički spektakl, Evrosong takmičenje za pesmu Evrovizije, koje
će se održati od 10. do 14. maja. Grad je objavio da će ove godine
otvoriti Euroclub i Euro Fan Cafe, koji će pored zvaničnika, uče-
snika i novinara moći da prime 3000 fanova koji prate i navijaju za
učesnike iz svojih zemalja. Svake večeri Euroclub i Euro Fan Café
biće povezani i otvoreni za sve registrovane fanove. Onlajn regi-
stracija traje od 1. do 31. marta, a cena propusnice je oko 53 evra.

Opportunity for Eurovision fans
Sweden’s capital is preparing en masse for this year’s big musical
show, the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held from 10th
to 14th May. The City has announced that this year it will open
the Euroclub and Euro Fan Café, which – in addition to officials,
participants and journalists – will be able to accommodate 3,000
fans who follow and support participants from their countries.
Every evening the Euroclub and Euro Fan Café will be connected
and open to all registered fans. Online registration runs from 1st
to 31st March, with admission prices set at around 53 euros. The
song competition will be held at the Globe Arenas (pictured).

30 minuta, a cena ulaznice je 12,5
evra. Bioskop nema ekran, a po-

za doživljaj virtuelne realnosti

accommodate 50 guests. Each
video experience will last around
30 minutes and tickets are priced
at €12.5. The cinema has no scre-
en, but visitors receive Samsung
equipment for a virtual reality
