Stiglo je proleće. Plodne njive Srbije počele su da ze-
lene.
S druge strane puteljka, u
vinogradu se naziru prvi izdanci ovogodišnjih listova.
Oko pet miliona hektara obradivih površina čini go-
blizini.

Spring has arrived. The fertile fields of Serbia have be-
gun turning green. Wheat has already sprouted, and on
adjacent plots spring planting is already underway. On the
other side of the pathway, the first shoots of this year’s vine
leaves emerge in the vineyards. About five million hectares
of arable land accounts for almost 60 per cent of the total
area of Serbia and represents one of the country’s greatest
natural resources. A good part of this land lies to the north,
in Vojvodina, where this shot was taken, in an area known as
Potisje, named after the river Tisza, which passes nearby.
