Dragi gosti,

Dobro došli na ovaj let Er Srbije!

Dear Guests,

Welcome aboard this Air Serbia flight!

U julu tradicionalno počinje turistička sezona u Evropi, i veliko mi

dugim letovima – najavom novih pogodnosti u Er Srbiji.

onog trenutka kada stignu u Srbiju.

22. jun proglasio Nacionalnim danom Srbije.

jeste Italija. Preporučujemo vam dva veličanstvena grada ove važne

evropske zemlje: Milano i Rim.

Proslavljen

katedrali Duomo, operi Skala i arhitektonskom i umetničkom nasleđu.

i Njujork.

Rim ne treba posebno predstavljati. Četvrti grad po naseljenosti u

Evropskoj zajednici, a druga najstarija prestonica u celoj Evropi, iza Atine,

Rim se s pravom smatra kolevkom zapadne civilizacije. Arhitektura

Rima, jedne od deset najposećenijih destinacija u svetu, obuhvata antički

period, renesansu, barok i neoklasicizam. Grad ima nebrojeno mnogo

muzeja i bezgraničan šarm.

Traditionally, July marks the start of the holiday season here in

Europe, so I am delighted that we are carrying you to your well-deserved

break and the time you will spend with your nearest and dearest.

I am also delighted to be able to share more good news – particularly

for those of you travelling to Serbia from far away long-haul markets – by

announcing that Air Serbia will be introducing a new fare product. To be

called the “Euro Sky Pass”, it will initially be made available for our guests

travelling from Australia, and shortly thereafter, extended to our guests

travelling from Canada and the USA. Our guests will be able to purchase the

“Euro Sky Pass” for travel in either the economy or business class cabins.

As the name suggests, the “Euro Sky Pass” will enable our guests to

purchase in advance of their travel, a set number of coupons which they

can then redeem for travel to any one of 37 Air Serbia destinations, once

they have arrived in Serbia. The aim of the “Euro Sky Pass”, is to provide

our guests with the flexibility and freedom to travel as they wish, especially

when they are on vacation and making decisions around where to travel at

the last minute. This product will go a long way to helping connect people

with destinations, especially when they are far away from home.

For those of you who still haven’t visited the world’s Universal

Exhibition, EXPO 2015, I recommend a visit to this unique event in Milan.

And you can also utilise your time there to tour the other notable sights

of this great city.

Recently, the Milan 2015 World Expo commemorated our country by

declaring 22nd June as National Day of Serbia. This auspicious occasion

proved a perfect opportunity for us to announce that well-known

footballer, Dejan Stanković, a long-time resident of Italy, would become

the third high profile Serb to have an aircraft named in his honour.

This honour is part of Air Serbia’s “Living Legends” programme,

which aims to pay tribute to Serbians who have excelled in their chosen

field and whose accomplishments are inspirational and in line with the

airline’s brand and values.

The country in focus for this issue of Elevate, not surprisingly,

is Italy. And we are recommending two great cities of this European

powerhouse: Milan and Rome.

Milan, Italy’s second city and capital of the Milan and Lombardy

region of Northern Italy, is considered Italy’s “commercial heart”. A

renowned economic, fashion and media hub, it is famous for its Duomo

di Milano Cathedral, La Scala Opera House and its great architecture and

artistic heritage. Milan is known worldwide as one of the focal points of

world fashion, alongside Paris and New York.

Rome needs no introduction. The EU’s fourth-most populous city and

the second oldest European metropolis, after Athens, Rome is rightfully

considered the cradle of western civilisation. Ranked on the list of the

world’s top-ten most visited destinations, Rome’s architecture spans the

antique, renaissance and baroque periods, as well as neo-classicism. The

city has numerous museums and an endless supply of charm.

Air Serbia flies daily to both Milan and Rome from its hub at

Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla International Airport.

On behalf of the entire Air Serbia team, thank you for flying with us

and we look forward to welcoming you aboard again soon

Dane Kondić, CEO Air Serbia
