Kao mala u mislima sam letela u oblacima i kad sam prvi put sela u avion, moj dečji san se ostvario. Radost letenja avionom osećam i danas. BEZ ČEGA NE ULAZITE U AVION? – Bez bloka za crtanje. Najlepše minijature uradila sam olovkom, u avionu. Pošto je nedavno Manjo Vukotić objavio moj autobiografski roman SELFI, poslednje putovanje avionom pamtim i po tome što sam se prvi put u avionu do Njujorka zabavljala listajući svoju knjigu umesto uobičajenog šaranja po papiru. ZAŠTO BEOGRAD? – Beograd volim zato što je pun kontrasta. U prošlosti je nažalost često rušen, ali su spojevi starog i novog u arhitekturi nešto što Beogradu daje poseban šmek. Volim Beograd i zbog neobičnih splavova na rekama, zbog Kalemegdana, gde svakodnevno šetam, zbog moje ulice, Gepratove, koja je lepa u svako doba godine, a najviše zbog Beograđana, koji su najgostoljubiviji ljudi na svetu. WHY DO YOU LIKE PLANES? - I love heights. As a little girl, I ew through the clouds inmy mind, andmy childhood dreamwas realised the rst time I sat on a plane. I still feel the joy of ying today. WHAT DON’T YOU BOARD A PLANEWITHOUT? -Without a sketchpad. I’ve createdmy most beautiful miniatures with a pencil, aboard a plane. Given that ManjoVukotić recently publishedmy autobiographical novel SELFIE, I recall my last journey by plane according to that, because for the rst time I entertainedmyself aboard a ight to NewYork by listing throughmy own book, instead of the usual scribbling on paper. WHY DOYOU LOVE BELGRADE? - I love Belgrade because it is full of contrasts. It was, unfortunately, often devastated in the past, but the architectural fusion of the old and the new is something that gives Belgrade a special charm. I also love Belgrade for its unusual raft venues along the rivers, because of Kalemegdan, where I stroll every day, because of my street – Gepratova - which is beautiful during all times of the year, andmostly because of Belgraders, who are the most hospitable people in the world.
