In the late 1970s, while lea ng through family albums, Milivoj came across a picture of the Fordson tractor from the beginning of our story. Quite by accident, Milivoj discovered that another example of this very samemodel existed in the vicinity of Kragujevac. He went to check it out and was surprised to nd several other similar machines. It was then that he came up with the idea of buying them all and thus somehow preserving them from disappearing from this area. Unbeknownst to him, he had thus laid the foundations for today’smuseum. Initially just a small collection of only a few tractors housed in an old shed, as the collection grew so did the service. e tractors were rst put on display in 1991, as a permanent exhibition in a purpose-built facility. is museumcollection, at an enviable level on a continental scale, is today unique in our country.
