The high-class menus will be
arranged on china ware and
served on flights from Berlin
to New York, Chicago,
Miami, Abu Dhabi and Punta
Cana. To order via

Alitalia has successfully
completed an IT system
upgrade which is set to generate a
substantial increase in additional
revenues for the airline and improve
customer service. All of Alitalia’s
reservations, check-in and airline
operations were switched from Arco
to the Sabre IT system. The introduction of Sabre is part of
the overall business restructuring plan to place the airline
on a sustainable commercial platform. The new system will
allow Alitalia to deliver new services and an improved
customer experience, and link it more effectively with the
Etihad Airways Partner airlines, most of which use Sabre’s
technology.
