Ipak, najvrednije što Kosmaj nudi je uživanje u netaknutoj prirodi, a prema podacima Ekološkog društva Kosmaj, na planini postoji 95 izvora pitke vode, 551 vrsta biljaka i čak 300 vrsta gljiva.
