Nalazi se u Glavnoj ulici, a posetili su ga Frenk Sinatra, Sofija Loren i poznati miljenik madridskih barova – Ernest Hemingvej, koji je poslužio kao inspiracija za koktel papa doble sa rumom i grejpfrutom. Poznavaoci Almodovarovog opusa će se setiti bara kroz scenu u kojoj Judit (Blanka Portiljo) ispija džin i deli svoje mračne tajne sa slepim scenaristom, nekada rediteljem, Harijem Kejnom (Luis Omar). Vila Rosa, sa svojom prepoznatljivom popločanom fasadom, zaštitni je znak madridskog kvarta Las Letras, poznatog po nocnom životu. TABLAO FLAMENCO VILLA ROSA (HIGH HEELS, 1991) One of the most popular cult scenes in Almodovar's entire opus is found in the film High Heels, in which the character Eduardo Dominguez appears as Letal the drag queen and performs the Luz Casal song Un Año de Amor. The Villa Rosa, with its recognisable tiled façade, is a symbol of Madrid’s literary quarter, the Las Letras district, which is renowned for its nightlife. MUSEOCHICOTE BAR (BROKENEMBRACES, 2009) This famous Art Deco cocktail bar that was founded 1931 was actually the first of its kind inMadrid. Located on the Grand Via itself, it was visited by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Sophia Loren and the famous favourite guest of Madrid’s bars - Ernest Hemingway, who inspired the rum- and grapefruit-based cocktail “Papa Doble”. Connoisseurs of Almodovar’s work will recall this bar from the scene when the character Judit (actress Blanca Portillo) drinks gin and shares her dark secrets with the blind screenwriter and former director Harry Caine (Lluis Homar).
