84 | WOODSTOCK AND UNTOLD STORIES The 16th Night of the Museums will keep Belgrade awake into the early hours on 18th May. From 4pm to midnight, visitors to the top museum adventures will be able to peek at museum collections, uncover gallery tales and open the doors to many other buildings. During the Night of the Museums in Belgrade, the public will be able to tour around 60 locations across the city, many of which will only open their doors to the general public during this one evening. Standing out in terms of exclusivity is the tour Untold Stories, which is traditionally realised in cooperation with the national sponsor, TV channel Viasat History. Within the scope of this tour, visitors will be able to feel the scent of freedom of the Hippie era and the cult Woodstock festival, acquaint themselves with Belgrade from the time of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, test everything they know about unique cultural monuments – the old taverns of the capital bars – or enjoy the spirit of freedom that coloured Belgrade’s nightlife during the 1980s. By playing with superstitions, customs, beauty and vanity, visitors to the Ethnographic Museum will be able to explore the luxurious world of mirrors, test their artistic inhibitions on the stage of Bitef Theatre, while a slightly different journey behind the scenes will be organised by the University of Arts Faculty of Music. su spojene i za automobilski i pešački saobraćaj.
