Simultano sa drugimDžejms Kameron je snimio i treći deo, a u toku godine se očekuje početak produkcije četvrtog i petog dela. Mnogobrojnu glumačku ekipu čine Sem Vortington, Zoi Saldana, Stiven Lang, Sigorni Viver, Kejt Vinslet, Mišel Jo i Đovani Ribizi. Ovo je takođe i Kameronov prvi igrani film nakon prvog Avatara.
