Jezuitsko stepenište je još jedna znamenitost Dubrovnika koju će ljubitelji Igre prestola brzo prepoznati, jer je to bilo mesto čuvene Sersine „šetnje pokajanja“. Stepenište je vredno posete jer je jedan od najboljih primera barokne arhitekture u gradu. The Walls of Dubrovnik represent a series of very tall, white limestone defensive walls and ramparts that were constructed in continuity from the 12th to the 17th centuries. They are often considered as being among the greatest fortifications of the Middle Ages, having never once fallen to a hostile army. More recently, Dubrovnik also become famous as one of the main filming locations for hit series Game of Thrones. Tourists can embark on an organised Game of Thrones Tour and feel they are part of King’s Landing. The Jesuit Staircase is another landmark that fans of Game of Thrones will recognise, as it provided the setting for Cersei’s famous “walk of atonement.” Aside from its relation to this hit show, the staircase is worth a visit simply because it’s one of the city’s best examples of Baroque architecture.
