If the legend is correct, the first stone was set in Rome on 21st April, 753 BC. The Birthday of Rome is still celebrated in a glorious way, so take the once in a lifetime chance to celebrate the Eternal city and enjoy this special atmosphere! In April you shouldn’t miss Rome‘s Spanish Steps, which link the Piazza di Spagna with the church of the Santissima Trinità dei Monti. CARNIVAL INHONOUR OF THE KING The King’s Day festival in the capital of the Netherlands celebrates the birthday of KingWillem-Alexander. The one-day celebration sees local residents and tourists traditionally dress in orange from head to toe, in honour of the Dutch royal family. Undertakings usually commence on the evening before King’s Day, which is held on 27th April. The city’s canals are full of boats of different colours throughout the entire day or even for a week. King’s Day also hosts the world’s largest flea markets. Here everyone, from young to old, trades in second-hand goods, while on the streets you can really feel the proper cheerful spirit of Amsterdam. LADYWITH FANAT BELVEDEREMUSEUM One of the final two almost-completed paintings of Gustav Klimt, “Lady with Fan”, will be exhibited at Vienna’s Upper Belvedere Museum until 13th February 2022. Lady with Fan will be exhibited under the scope of the first part of the exhibition, together with other unfinished works by this artist, while the second part of the exhibition is dedicated to the influence of Japanese and Chinese art on Klimt’s later works. The second part of the exhibition will open in early October. According to the latest information, the last time the painting Lady with Fan was exhibited publicly in Vienna was in 1920. Događaji obično započinju noć uoči Dana kralja, koji se održava 27. aprila, Kanali su puni čamaca različitih boja tokomcelog dana ili čak nedelje. BEČ / VIENNA Dama sa lepezom u Muzeju Belvedere Jedna od dve poslednje gotovo dovršene slike Gustava Klimta – Dama sa lepezom, bi e izložena u Muzeju Gornji Belvedere do 13. februara 2022. godine. U okviru prvog dela izložbe bi e prikazana Dama sa lepezom, zajedno sa drugim nedovršenim ostvarenjima umetnika, dok je drugi deo izložbe posve en uticaju japanske i kineske umetnosti na Klimtova kasnija dela. Drugi deo postavke bi e otvoren početkom oktobra. Prema najnovijim saznanjima, Dama sa lepezom je poslednji put javno izložena u Beču 1920. godine.
